We respect your privacy and use your information only to provide estimates and service updates.
Information We Collect
We collect contact details and service preferences you provide through the quote form. Specifically, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Service address
- Payment information (processed securely through Authorize.net; we do not store full card numbers)
- GPS coordinates (employees only, during job execution)
- Device information and push notification tokens
- Job photos (employees upload during service)
How We Use It
Your information is used to prepare estimates, confirm appointments, and communicate about services.
Data Protection
We do not sell your information. Contact us if you would like your details updated or removed.
Location Data
When you use our Sparkling Spaces mobile app, we collect precise GPS location data for employees to enable clock-in/clock-out verification and geofencing. This data is used solely for verifying that employees are physically present at the service location. Location is collected only while you are actively using the app to perform a job. GPS coordinates are stored in our secure database and are accessible only to authorized administrators. We do not sell or share location data with third parties.
Photo Storage
Employees may upload before/after photos of the service area during job completion. These photos may include images of your home interior. Photos are stored securely on our servers and/or third-party cloud storage (Amazon S3). Photos are accessible to authorized Sparkling Spaces administrators and the customer who booked the service. You may request deletion of job photos by contacting us.
Your Right to Delete Your Data
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. To exercise this right, you may use the "Delete Account" feature in the Sparkling Spaces mobile app (under Profile > Settings > Delete Account) or contact us at privacy@getsparklingspaces.com. Upon request, we will anonymize your personal information (name, email, phone) within 30 days. Certain data (such as financial transaction records) may be retained for legal and accounting compliance purposes.
Marketing Communications
If you opted into marketing communications, you may opt out at any time by using the "Unsubscribe" feature in the app (under Profile > Notifications) or by replying STOP to any SMS message. We will honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.
