Everything you need to know before booking
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No! Most customers provide entry instructions (door code, key location, etc.) and aren't home. Our cleaners follow a detailed checklist and take before/after photos — you can track progress in real time through our app.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes, we bring all professional cleaning supplies and equipment. If you have specific products you prefer (fragrance-free, pet-safe, etc.), just let us know in your booking notes and we'll accommodate.
How are your cleaners vetted?
All Sparkling Spaces cleaners complete a background check and in-person orientation before their first job. We verify identity, review work history, and monitor performance through customer ratings after every service.
What's your cancellation policy?
You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a $35 late cancellation fee to compensate the cleaner for their reserved time.
How does payment work?
We pre-authorize your card when your booking is confirmed — we don't charge you until after the service is completed and you've had a chance to review the work. You can also add a tip through the app. We accept all major credit and debit cards.
Are you insured?
Yes. Sparkling Spaces LLC carries general liability insurance. In the unlikely event of damage during a service, contact us within 48 hours and we will work quickly to resolve it.
What areas do you serve?
We cover the full Kansas City metro area — including Overland Park, Lenexa, Olathe, Shawnee, Prairie Village, Lee's Summit, Independence, Liberty, and Kansas City MO. See our service areas page for a full ZIP code list.
Do you offer recurring cleaning discounts?
Yes! Weekly service saves 10%, bi-weekly saves 7%, and monthly saves 5% off our standard rates. Discounts are applied automatically when you select a frequency during booking.
What if I'm not satisfied with the clean?
We stand behind our work with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If any area wasn't cleaned to your standard, contact us within 48 hours and we'll send a cleaner back at no charge to make it right.
Can I request the same cleaner every time?
We do our best to send the same cleaner for recurring bookings. You can note a preferred cleaner in your account. We can't guarantee availability but aim for consistency.
